OUR COVERAGE

Find RVBuyerUSA in Your State

RVBuyerUSA considers purchase inquiries from RV owners in every U.S. state. Your RV might be parked at home, stored away from your residence, or sitting at a repair facility. You can start an evaluation request without moving it first.

The important starting point is where the RV is currently located—not necessarily where you live or where it was originally registered.

We primarily work with private RV owners. Dealerships may also contact us about vehicles they wish to sell. Every RV is considered individually, so inclusion in our service area does not automatically mean a purchase will be possible.

Browse the four regions below to find your state. The groupings follow the U.S. Census Bureau’s geographic regions.

Northeast — 9 States

If your RV has spent months in seasonal storage, tell us when it was last used and whether it has been winterized. Known issues involving plumbing, tires, batteries, or moisture should be included with your inquiry.

Midwest — 12 States

Midwestern RVs may be kept in residential driveways, commercial storage facilities, or buildings used for seasonal storage. If the RV has been parked through winter, describe its present condition rather than assuming it remains road-ready.

South — 16 States

Owners across the South can submit motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and other RV types for consideration. If a vehicle has experienced severe weather, flooding, water intrusion, or extended outdoor storage, include the problems you know about.

West — 13 States

The West covers a wide range of RV locations, from city storage facilities to mountain communities and remote properties. The RV’s current condition and physical accessibility are useful details when requesting an evaluation. Alaska and Hawaii are included in our nationwide inquiry coverage. Transportation possibilities in those states require individual assessment and should not be assumed to match mainland arrangements.

You do not need to live near a featured city. If your state is listed but your town is not, you can still submit the RV’s actual ZIP code for consideration.

EXPLORE LOCAL GUIDES

Featured Cities for RV Sellers

These 20 cities are starting points for more detailed geographic guides. They represent selected major metropolitan areas and regional markets, not the boundaries of our buying coverage.

The information you provide should reflect your particular RV and parking situation. The examples below describe practical issues an owner might need to clarify; they do not suggest that every RV in a city has those problems.

Southwest and Pacific States

Phoenix, Arizona

Outdoor storage can make sun exposure and cooling-system condition useful topics to discuss. If your RV has visible seal deterioration, tire damage, or nonworking air conditioning, explain what you have observed.

Los Angeles, California

A large RV parked on a residential street, behind a building, or inside a restricted lot may present access questions. Include the precise parking setting and whether there is room to move the vehicle.

Riverside, California

The Inland Empire includes homes, commercial storage facilities, and properties outside dense city neighborhoods. If the RV is on unpaved ground or behind a secured gate, mention those details early.

San Diego, California

If the RV has spent time near the coast, include any known corrosion or seal concerns. Owners should describe actual observed damage rather than assuming that coastal storage necessarily caused a problem.

Las Vegas, Nevada

When an RV has been stored outdoors in desert conditions, photographs of the roof, exterior seals, tires, and interior can help document its present condition. Mention any systems that are no longer operational.

Mountain and Pacific Northwest States

Denver, Colorado

A motorhome parked through winter may have batteries, plumbing, or other systems that have not been tested recently. Let us know whether it was winterized and when it last operated.

Portland, Oregon

If you know of roof leaks, soft flooring, damaged seals, or interior moisture, include those details. The vehicle’s condition matters more than whether it was kept indoors or outdoors.

Seattle, Washington

Describe any known moisture intrusion, water staining, or long-term storage concerns. If a facility controls access to the RV, identify the restrictions that would affect a potential inspection or collection.

Florida and the Southeast

Tampa, Florida

Storm exposure, roof condition, and water intrusion may be relevant if they have affected your RV. Tell us what happened, what repairs were completed, and whether any damage remains.

Orlando, Florida

If your RV is kept in a commercial storage lot away from your residence, provide that location rather than your mailing ZIP code. Note whether the facility requires advance permission for vehicle release.

Ocala, Florida

RVs parked on acreage or rural property may require additional access details. Soft ground, narrow entrances, missing wheels, or limited turning space can affect the practicality of moving a vehicle.

Atlanta, Georgia

For RVs stored in or around the metropolitan area, identify any gated storage access, tight parking spaces, or vehicle movement restrictions. The exact collection location matters more than the nearest city name.

Charlotte, North Carolina

An RV may be parked at a suburban home, storage business, or property beyond the city center. Include the approximate vehicle length and whether the access road or driveway presents limitations.

Midwest and Northeast

Chicago, Illinois

For an RV kept in seasonal storage, describe winterization and current operating condition. If the vehicle has not moved recently, do not assume that its tires, brakes, or engine are ready for travel.

Detroit, Michigan

An older motorhome with drivetrain or electrical problems may still be submitted for review. Explain whether it starts, moves under its own power, and has any known steering or braking defects.

Columbus, Ohio

Owners of stored travel trailers and fifth wheels can describe the last time the unit was towed, along with the condition of its tires, hitch, axles, and exterior. Recent photographs are useful when the RV has been unused.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

An RV at a property with narrow access or limited parking clearance may require additional planning. Mention gates, overhead obstructions, or other restrictions before arrangements are discussed.

Texas

Dallas, Texas

If your RV has experienced hail or other storm damage, describe the affected roof panels, vents, windows, or exterior surfaces. Include the present condition even if an earlier repair was completed.

Houston, Texas

Disclose any known flooding, water intrusion, or storm-related damage. If you cannot determine whether moisture reached electrical or structural components, explain what remains uninspected.

San Antonio, Texas

For a motorhome or towable RV stored on private property, include its location and movement readiness. On a trailer, hitch, axle, and tire concerns may affect the transportation discussion.

Don’t See Your City?

These featured locations do not limit our nationwide inquiry coverage. You can request an evaluation using the current ZIP code of the RV, even if your city has no dedicated guide yet.

LOCATION MATTERS

Does Your RV’s Location Affect the Buying Process?

Yes. The location helps establish where a vehicle would need to be inspected or collected and whether additional arrangements might be necessary. It can also affect transportation feasibility and the overall evaluation.

A ZIP code alone cannot answer every question about access. Two otherwise similar RVs in the same city could have very different collection requirements.

The Exact Parking Location

Tell us whether the vehicle is at a residence, storage yard, repair shop, campground, or private property. If the entrance is narrow, the RV sits behind other vehicles, or the property has access restrictions, mention them. A clear description helps avoid assumptions about the conditions at the site.

The RV’s Ability to Move

A motorhome that runs and drives may be different to transport from one with an inoperative engine, missing tires, damaged steering, or failed brakes. For a travel trailer, fifth wheel, or toy hauler, towing readiness includes the running gear and appropriate connection points. Do not drive or tow an unsafe RV simply to prepare for an inquiry.

Distance and Transportation Requirements

The RV’s size, location, access route, and mechanical condition may affect the arrangements required if a purchase is agreed upon. Remote sites and locations requiring specialized transport may need additional assessment. The same applies to Alaska and Hawaii, where transport arrangements cannot be assumed from mainland examples. We do not promise approval of a purchase or transportation arrangement solely because a location is within the United States.

Where the RV Is Titled

An RV might be stored in one state while the title or registration reflects another. A loan, inherited ownership, or recent move can add questions that must be clarified. Applicable transfer procedures are determined by the relevant state rules and transaction circumstances. The USAGov motor vehicle services directory can help you find the responsible agency.

Free towing is included if an RV purchase is agreed upon. It is not a free-standing RV removal service and is not triggered merely by submitting an evaluation request.

RVS CONSIDERED

RV Types We Evaluate Nationwide

Our service covers different recreational vehicle types. An RV’s design and condition can influence both its evaluation and the arrangements required to move it.

Class A Motorhomes

For a large motorhome, approximate length, weight-related characteristics, tire condition, and drivetrain operation can be important. Let us know if it requires specialized movement assistance.

Class B Motorhomes and Camper Vans

A camper van combines a road vehicle with installed living equipment. Mileage, modifications, mechanical condition, and major equipment problems are useful evaluation details.

Class C Motorhomes

Provide information about the chassis and the living area. A vehicle may drive normally while having significant roof, cab-over, plumbing, or interior damage.

Travel Trailers

Describe the trailer’s exterior, roof, frame, running gear, and interior. Whether it can be towed safely is separate from whether it remains comfortable to use.

Fifth Wheels

These RVs can require a compatible tow vehicle and suitable space for maneuvering. State the approximate length and any known hitch, axle, tire, or structural problems.

Toy Haulers

A toy hauler’s cargo area, loading ramp, floor, and structural condition can be relevant in addition to its normal living features. Include defects affecting those systems.

Other RV Types

We also consider other recreational vehicle categories, including units that are damaged, non-running, or in need of substantial repairs. Evaluation does not mean automatic acceptance. An older RV with a manageable problem may present a different situation from one with major structural deterioration or unresolved ownership issues.

FIVE CLEAR STEPS

How a Location-Based RV Purchase Works

A nationwide inquiry should begin with an accurate description of the RV and its present location. From there, the information can be reviewed to determine whether a direct purchase is possible.

Step 1 – Share Your RV Details

Submit the RV type, year, make, model, location, and current condition. Include major known defects rather than describing the unit only as used or in fair condition.

Step 2 – Clarify Accessibility and Ownership

Tell us where the RV is parked, whether it runs or can be towed, and whether access is restricted. Identify any known title, ownership, or lien questions. Additional information may be requested if necessary to assess the RV and the practical requirements of a purchase.

Step 3 – Receive an Individual Review

RVBuyerUSA considers the information provided about the vehicle, including its characteristics, condition, location, and potential transportation needs. An inquiry is not an automatic valuation or guaranteed purchase offer. Further photographs, clarification, or inspection may be needed before an offer can be determined.

Step 4 – Decide Whether to Proceed

If an offer is available, review its amount and any applicable conditions before deciding. There is no charge to request an offer and no obligation to accept one. You remain free to consider other selling options.

Step 5 – Confirm the Transaction Details

If you accept an offer and both parties agree to proceed, ownership documents, any necessary lender arrangements, payment terms, and the transportation plan must be addressed. Ask which party will complete each document and whether your state requires a separate seller notification after the transfer. Do not assume that accepting an offer automatically completes the legal transfer. With an agreed RV purchase, free towing is included. The practical timing and arrangements depend on the individual transaction; no fixed pickup or payment deadline is promised.

SELLER CHECKLIST

What to Have Ready Before You Contact Us

A useful evaluation request does not need a lengthy sales description. Start with the facts that identify the RV and explain its current condition and location.

RV Identity

Provide the year, make, model, and type. Include an approximate length when known, particularly for larger motorhomes or fifth wheels.

Operating Condition

State whether a motorhome starts, runs, and drives or whether a trailer is towable. Mention known problems with tires, brakes, steering, axles, or the hitch.

Damage and Interior Condition

Describe any confirmed roof leaks, soft floors, water intrusion, collision damage, mechanical defects, or missing components. Do not guess about systems that have not been checked.

Current Location

Use the ZIP code where the RV is parked. If it is stored away from your home, the storage ZIP code is the useful location for the inquiry.

Photographs and Access

Recent exterior and interior photographs can help explain condition, if available. Mention gated access, blocked driveways, uneven ground, or other potential movement restrictions. Do not share access codes or sensitive personal documents in an unsecured initial message.

Ownership Information

Know whether the RV is titled in your name, has an outstanding loan, or is subject to an estate or other ownership arrangement. You can raise a paperwork question during an inquiry, but the necessary ownership requirements must be satisfied before a transaction can be completed.

For state-specific information, consult the appropriate motor vehicle agency through the official USAGov directory.

SELLER QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Service Areas

Yes. RVBuyerUSA serves RV owners across all 50 U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii. Each RV is reviewed individually. Being in a covered state does not establish that a particular vehicle can be purchased or that a specific transportation arrangement is available. Remote and non-mainland locations may require additional logistical review.

You can still request an evaluation if your city is not among the 20 featured locations. The directory is a way to find state and city information, not a limit on where owners can inquire. A state or city listing does not mean RVBuyerUSA operates a physical office, dealership, yard, or permanent local team there. Do not use the directory as a list of places to visit without separately confirming an actual business location.

Yes. An RV at a rural property or commercial storage facility may be submitted for evaluation. Provide the current location and describe any gates, narrow entrances, ground conditions, or other access restrictions. If the RV cannot be moved normally, say so. Those details help determine whether further inspection or transportation arrangements would be practical.

You can submit information about a damaged or non-running RV. Mechanical failure, water intrusion, roof problems, collision damage, and other defects do not automatically prevent an inquiry. Tell us what you know, including whether the vehicle can roll, steer, or be towed. Significant damage can affect its evaluation and whether a purchase is practical. Not every damaged RV will qualify for an offer.

Requesting an offer is free, and you do not have to accept an offer if one is made. The request begins an individual purchase evaluation. It is not a certified appraisal, an automatically calculated valuation, or a binding sale. A purchase takes place only when the necessary terms and transaction requirements are agreed upon.

No standalone towing service is promised by submitting an inquiry. RVBuyerUSA includes free towing with an agreed RV purchase. The vehicle, its location, its ability to move, and the required transport arrangements must be considered before a transaction is confirmed. An inquiry alone does not authorize pickup or create a transportation commitment.

Explain the title and loan situation when you inquire. An active lien, title in another state, inherited RV, or ownership discrepancy may require additional documentation. Before completing any sale, the parties must clarify the appropriate title, lender, payment, and transfer requirements. Ask who is responsible for each step, including any seller notice required by the relevant state. No single process applies to every RV transaction.

After an offer is accepted and the parties agree to proceed, the remaining purchase conditions must be confirmed. These may include verifying the RV’s condition, establishing clear ownership, completing required documents, finalizing payment arrangements, and planning transportation. The agreement and applicable state requirements determine the next steps. An offer acceptance should not be confused with an already completed title transfer, payment, or pickup.
